Checking gauge 428

The straightened gauge is laid on one bush diameter of the chain with the radius of one blade. After that the gauge is lifted and angeled. The radius of the second blade is laid on the next possible bush diameter. This correlates to 20 chain partitions. The distance between the middle of the gauge blade underside and the top side of the chain is approximately 7mm at a new chain. When the gauge lays completely on top of the chain, the chain should be replaced.
